Our Adventure

Inspired By Passion

Couple riding rented scooter with their dog

At MangoScoot, each scooter isn’t just a ride – it’s a tribute to the champions of the moto-racing world. Our scooters bear numbers linked to national and international racing stars from disciplines like superbikes, supermotard, and MX. These numbers represent the legacy of champions from Costa Rica, infusing each ride with the spirit of their victories.

This unique concept was born from a partnership fostered by passion and support, involving racing enthusiasts like Marlon, Benedicto and special sponsors like Raceproven and Larry Mills of DP-BRAKES (Dunlop Brake Pads). United by a shared love for racing, this family of racers assists each other in overcoming the challenges faced in Costa Rican motorsports, where recognition and support are scarce.

The Racers Behind The Numbers

In the world of motorcycle racing, the numbers on a racer’s bike are more than just identification; they often carry personal significance, history, and sometimes superstitions. For Mango Scoot, each scooter number represents a real professional racer with their own story. Read the racer behind each number below:

Mango's Adventures

Meet Mango, our adventurous Malinois Belgian Shepherd and the heart and soul of MangoScoot. More than just a pet, Mango is an integral part of our journey, exuding joy that’s as clear as the smile in his photos. A local icon in Manuel Antonio, he’s known for his daily scooter rides with Marlon, exploring the vibrant streets of Quepos or chasing sunsets, embodying the true spirit of adventure.

From the young age of one month, Mango took to the scooter like a natural, mirroring the effortless bond he shares with Marlon. Mango’s friendly demeanor endears him to everyone he meets and he’s always thrilled to accompany riders on excursions to beaches, mountains, or rivers in our beautiful slice of Costa Rican paradise.
